Alkylresorcinols are better distributed in the rubber matrix than resorcinol, do not smoke when mixed and do not fade on the surface of rubber mixtures during storage.

Humidity & salt-spray endurance

The use of alkylated resorcinol analogues is compatible with virtually all types of reinforcement cords, including nylon, aramid, polyester, rayon, and brass-plated steel cord.
Their advantages become particularly evident when high rubber-to-cord bond strength is required under conditions of steam aging or exposure to salt solution.

Kivirol RF (Resin SF-281)

Oligomeric novolac-type alkylresorcinol.
Can be used in the same rubber formulations as resorcinol.
Compared to resorcinol, it disperses more uniformly in rubber, does not fume during mixing, and does not bloom to the surface of rubber compounds during storage.
When used in combination with a methylene donor, it provides strong adhesion of rubber to textile and metallic reinforcement cords.

Kivirol RH (Kivirol-NSH)

Oligomeric alkylresorcinol (analogue of Kivirol-RF)
Can be used in the same rubber compound formulations as resorcinol.
Like Kivirol-RF, it exhibits improved dispersion in rubber, does not fume during mixing, and does not bloom to the surface of rubber compounds during storage.
In combination with a methylene donor, it ensures strong adhesion of rubber to textile and metallic reinforcement cords.

Kivirol RS (Chemoxol-O)

Sulfur-containing oligomeric alkylresorcinol. Analogue of Kivirol-RF and Kivirol-RH.
Can be used in the same rubber compound formulations as resorcinol.
Compared to resorcinol, it offers improved dispersion in rubber, does not fume during mixing, and does not bloom to the surface of rubber compounds during storage.
In combination with a methylene donor, it ensures strong rubber-to-textile and rubber-to-metal cord adhesion, particularly under conditions of steam aging or exposure to salt solution.

Kivirol®-RFH (Modifier ARU-D-30)

Represents a blend of an alkyl-aromatic novolac resorcinol analogue with hexamethylenetetramine (HMTA).
Designed to promote adhesion between rubber and textile or metallic reinforcement cords.
Does not require the addition of a separate methylene donor to the rubber compound formulation.
Can be used in the same formulations as resorcinol, pinacol-type resins, or their analogues.
Delivers superior performance under demanding test conditions compared to conventional systems.

Kivirol®-RHH (Kivirol-TK)

Represents a blend of an alkyl-aromatic oligomeric resorcinol analogue with hexamethylenetetramine (HMTA).
Designed to form strong adhesive bonds between rubber and textile or metallic cords.
Does not require the addition of a methylene donor to the rubber compound formulation.
Can be used in the same formulations as resorcinol, its oligomeric analogues, or copolymers.
Demonstrates superior performance under severe testing conditions compared to conventional systems.

Kivirol®-RSH*

Represents a blend of an alkyl-aromatic sulfur-containing resorcinol analogue with hexamethylenetetramine (HMTA).

50% aqueous solution of condensed alkylresorcinol resin.

Kivirol^®SP-50

50% aqueous solution of condensed alkylresorcinol resin, analogue of Kivirol® SP-43.
A binding agent that promotes rubber-to-fabric adhesion in tires, belts, conveyor belts, and reinforced hoses.
